Is it appropriate to buy a girlfriend from India jewelry?
I’ve never seen her wear any, so I’d like to buy her a gold bracelet (not a bangle) as a holiday gift. Are there any cultural reasons why she doesn’t buy jewelry for herself, or any reason she would object to a boyfriend giving her jewelry?
Can’t ask, or I’d tip the surprise.
She might not accept it if it’s too expensive a gift. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and I would not be able to accept jewelry from him. Why not take her out or have a nice picnic? Also it depends on how long you’ve been with her.
